Services Agreement

The Africa Association of Quantity Surveyors (AAQS) is a constituent member of PROCSA (Professional Consultants Services Agreement Committee). PROCSA publishes in electronic format only a generic client/consultant professional services agreement for most of the professional disciplines. The latest version is Ed 4.0 October 2017

The terms and conditions, Annexure A (Schedule) and Annexure B (Services) are now combined in one document for each of the following disciplines:

Principal Agent
Project Manager
Quantity Surveyor
Civil Engineer ( with or without quantity surveying)
Structural Engineer
Electrical Engineer (with or without quantity surveying)
Mechanical Engineer (with or without quantity surveying)
Wet Services Engineer
Landscape Architect
Construction Health & Safety Consultant
Development Manager (representing the client)
Blank document (to be populated for any other disciplines)
Other disciplines will be added in due course eg Fire Consultant, Interior Designer, etc

The cost is as follows :

Reference copy for each discipline ZAR South African Rand 150.00 including VAT of 14%
Subscriber copy for each discipline ZAR South African Rand 340.00 including VAT of 14%. Subscribers pay a fee of South African Rand 95.00 per office monthly to Contracts on Demand. Contracts on Demand have secured the rights to distribute the PROCSA agreements
Non-subscriber copy for each discipline ZAR South African Rand 499.00 including VAT of 14%

Populating the agreement electronically is much improved from the previous version with many new or improved features such as a collaborating services (where input changes may be made by more than one party), populating a specific agreement from another already populated agreement from a different discipline or from a previous project, etc

A matrix document listing the services of all the consultants will in due course be made available
